ECE ABET 2007 Draft

Welcome to the ABET Evaluation Link of the web site of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In this department, preparation for ABET evaluation for its two programs, Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, is the responsibility of the Associate Head for Instructional and Graduate Affairs. This link is intended for:

  1. providing information on the ABET evaluation process for engaging the faculty and communicating with the constituents,
  2. documenting the preparation for the Accreditation visit in the Fall of 2001 under the new Engineering Criteria 2000, and
  3. setting a model for preparation for ABET evaluation for other departments and in particular for large departments that involves full participation by the faculty in the process.
