ECE Host a Reception
Displaying company exhibits in the ECE department
In 2002, the ECE Department established a first floor conference room in Everitt Lab, the department's primary instructional building. This facility is designed for special events that encourage student-industry interactions.
For companies trying to improve their visibility among our students, this room is a great place to set up a company display/exhibit. The 500 square foot room is located in a high-traffic area, ensuring maximum exposure of your company's display. Some companies have used this room before their scheduled on-campus interviews as a way of encouraging additional students to sign up for interviews.
Company display/exhibit format and room fee
The conference room is furnished with a conference table and chairs. The ECE Department will handle publicity and any special equipment needs, including an overhead projector and screen. The department can also coordinate arrangements for food. The reservation fee is $200 per day.
The room has electrical outlets on each wall, four 10 bT computer data jacks that provide 100 Mbps network service, and telephone service. Additional computers can be accommodated with mini-switches. To reserve this space, e-mail your request to katsinas@uiuc.edu.
