Everitt Lab Computer Network
Computer and Technology Services (CTS) maintains the ECE computer network within Everitt Lab. If you are bringing in a new machine that needs to be connected to the network, follow these instructions:IP Address
If your machine will be in the building temporarily, or if you are using a laptop which occasionally leaves the building, just configure your computer to use DHCP (obtain IP address automatically). However, if your machine will be in the building permanently (4 months or more), or if your work requires a fixed IP address, please use this form to request an IP address. Once you receive an IP address, you will still leave your computer configured for DHCP; the address you receive will be a DHCP reservation which will ensure you get the same address each time you log in. You may also use the ECE wireless network. Please do not request an IP address if you will exclusively use the wireless network.
Network Jack
If you are not using the ECE wireless network and need to use a network jack which is not currently active, you may use this form to request a jack activation. Please verify that the jack is not already active before using this form.
